Overlook Site Plan Review
Planning Commission moved to approve this site plan at the meeting on August 5, 2020. The applicant is now free to apply for building permits to construct the approved development.
The Planning Commission of the City of Golden held a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. online through the City of Golden website to consider a site plan for a self-storage facility and a personal warehouse facility on the 25 acre property known as Overlook, near the intersection of I-70 and C470.
The property was rezoned from residential to limited commercial uses, as approved by City Council on July 25, 2019. The self-storage facility, located on the northern portion of the site, is composed of three buildings. The personal warehouse facility, located on the southwestern portion of the site, is composed of seven buildings. The buildings, their associated access, and parking will cover approximately 33% of the site, while approximately 67% of the site will be landscaped or revegetated.
