Movies & Music in the Park has long been a favorite summer-time activity for Golden families. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the need to promote social distancing for the health of our community, this year the events will look a little different.
Instead of packing crowds into Parfet Park each Friday in August, Movies & Music in the Park is now Movies & Music in the Parking Lot! That's right -- we're hosting a drive-in.
Right now we have two drive-in movie events planned, both held in the old Heritage Square Lower Parking Lot at 18301 West Colfax Avenue. Slick back your hair and get ready to sing along - the first movie we'll show on August 14 is the ORIGINAL high school musical, Grease!
The second movie on September 11 is up to you! We know many of you already voted for a movie earlier this year, but because things have changed so much, we're starting over from scratch with a whole new batch of movies.
Voting will be held through the second week of August.
