Project Overview

Neighborhood Meeting to review proposed City initiated re-zoning of Golden Terrace Mobile Home Park that is intended to better preserve the Golden Terrace Neighborhood. Staff will explain what the draft changes mean, outline next steps, and listen to community feedback. A representative of the property owner will also attend. An online survey is available, below, for residents who cannot attend or have additional feedback after the meeting.

The purpose of this conversation and the rezoning effort is to ensure that Golden Terrace has the proper zoning to be preserved in its present form into the future. Nothing will be decided at this neighborhood meeting, it is purely informational. The next steps will be public hearings at Planning Commission and then City Council, where you can make written or oral comments, but your comments and questions are welcome throughout this process at any time.

  • This survey is an opportunity to provide feedback on each section listed in the proposed zoning document for the Golden Terrace Mobile Home Community and Recreational Vehicle Park Official Development Plan.  The proposed zoning change was initiated by the City and is intended to better preserve the Golden Terrace Neighborhood. Additional public feedback can be provided at the Planning Commission and City Council hearing dates listed on Guiding Golden. Public feedback is not accepted at study sessions. 

    Please download and review the Golden Terrace Mobile Home Community and Recreational Vehicle Park Official Development Plan prior to completing the survey.  The ODP is three pages, with most of the survey questions focused on the written material on Page 2.  Adobe Reader or other PDF viewers may be required to view the file.
