The Planning Commission held a public hearing on December 18th, 2019 to review the final draft of the TMP. The policy document was adopted through a unanimous vote of the Planning Commission.

Draft Presentation to City Council and Planning Commission

The Transportation Master Plan is currently being written, and the draft plan will be reviewed by Planning Commission and City Council members on October 16, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Comments from this primary stakeholder group will be incorporated into the draft and be made available to the public on this site for comment, prior to an adoption hearing at Planning Commission.

Farmers Market Pop-Up

This event is planned to be a Pop Up event at the Golden Farmers Market. We will be set up in one Farmers Market tent space with three long rectangular tables and three easels to display (1) the project’s Vision, Goals, and Core Values; (2) the study area including an overview of the existing conditions; and (3) an example of the funding activity.

Community Open House

The Golden Planning Division will host a Community Open House event regarding the Transportation Master Plan. A project vision, project goals and project objective were developed and now the City needs citizen input.

Transportation Master Plan Public Meeting

Please join the City of Golden’s Planning Commission and staff for a
public workshop hosted by the City’s transportation consultant. This
workshop will discuss mobility within the City of Golden and how it will
relate to the new Transportation Master Plan. Your input is needed to
help create the plan! The event will be held on Thursday, December 6, 6 –
8 p.m. at the Golden Community Center. Food will be provided.
