Project Released for Proposals

The Heritage Dells Park Playground project was released for proposals on Oct. 18 with a closing date of Nov. 8, 2024.

From the online survey and pop-up event feedback received, we requested in the Request for Proposals (RFP) that proposed designs include at least one slide that is 10’-15’ tall, a multi-occupancy swing, a multi-occupancy spinning element, pour-in-place rubber safety surfacing, and a small sand play area. The play structure will likely incorporate a bright color palette but that will be determined after a proposal is selected.

Depending on the responses we receive from the RFP, we expect to make a final design selection by late November.
