Consultation has concluded

The City of Golden is currently looking at where and how we should spend money in 2021-2022. Due to COVID-19, there are a lot of unknowns with regard to future revenue streams, but the City would still appreciate input on the next biennial budget process. A good portion of the budget will always need to be used to make sure our existing infrastructure is maintained, which means things like water, street repair, snow plowing and park maintenance. We want to look beyond infrastructure maintenance, though, to see how we can make Golden the best place it can possibly be for our residents.

Where do you think investments in the community should be made? If we have money for extra projects, what would you like to see? Your input will be taken into consideration by the City Council as the budget process continues. From Monday, June 1, 2020 until Monday, June 22, 2020, you can give us your ideas. Please visit www.cityofgolden.net/budget to find more information about the City’s budget process or submit your budget ideas below.

We look forward to hearing your suggestions!
